Xander Schauffele is an American professional golfer who competes on the PGA Tour. He was born on October 25, 1993, in San Diego, California. Schauffele has established himself as one of the most consistent performers in the sport, winning multiple PGA Tour titles and capturing a gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
Early Life and Amateur Career
Schauffele grew up in San Diego and learned the game from his father, Stefan, who was his first coach. He attended San Diego State University, where he played college golf and was named a first-team All-American. He decided to turn professional in 2015 after a successful amateur career.
